April Dobbins


Born and raised in rural Alabama, April Dobbins a writer and visual artist who currently lives in Iceland. She has written for several outlets including Miami New TimesPhiladelphia CitypaperSugarcane Magazine, and M.I.T.'s Immerse. Her films have been supported by the Sundance Institute, Abigail Disney's Fork Films, and the International Documentary Association, among others. She received her master's degree in arts education from Harvard, where she was also awarded the Intellectual Contribution Award by her professors and peers.
