Studio Rasley x Origo

Rebekka Ashley, a product designer from the Iceland University of the Arts, creates work that lies at the intersection of art and design. The idea for the project emerged when she participated in a group exhibition at DesignMarch 2021, where the theme was everyday objects in new roles. This led her to explore the mundane items around people, and she noticed that boxes filled with unusable cables were often hidden away. Recycling cables can be challenging because they are made from composite materials. One of her recent collaborators is Origo who recently published an exciting article about the project. Read it here.
